What to expect:

• Planning and implementation of a project funded by the BMFTR as part of the “T!RAUM – Transferräume für die Zukunft von Regionen” program, in which the biomarker quarter milk cell count is to be tested for practical suitability in dairy cow herds of the RinderAllianz
• Creation of a practice-validated action plan for dairy farms to prevent diseases through targeted early detection and specific management
• Data analysis, statistical evaluation
• Documentation of research results, handling of standard software and electronic information systems
• Writing manuscripts for publication in international peer-reviewed journals

Anforderungsprofil:

What to bring:

• University degree in veterinary medicine, agriculture, biology, or related fields
• Interest in deciphering the connections between genetics and physiology
• Basic knowledge of statistical data analysis
• Enthusiasm for working with farm animals
• Class B driver's license and willingness to travel (business trips)
• German language skills are a prerequisite
• Excellent English skills (spoken and written), with the ability to present and publish research results
• High motivation and willingness to work in a team, as well as the ability to work independently
