To start on 01/09/2025 and limited to 31/12/2027, we are looking for a Student Assistant (m/w/d; 50%, based on TVöD E5), Reference Number: 11-2025 to offer organizational, administrative, and content-related support for the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Think Tank Network.
The EaP Think Tank Network (https://eapthinktanks.org/) is a project of the DGAP’s Center for Order and Governance in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia, supported by the European Commission's Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR).
The EaP Think Tank Network (EaP TTN) addresses urgent challenges resulting from Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, supporting a more geopolitical EU response in the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood. With input from over 90 think tanks across the EU and EaP countries, the network provides strategic insights on foreign policy, security, connectivity, and domestic developments while analyzing the implications of EU enlargement for the region. The project aims to strengthen the network's policy analysis and capacity and enhance informed dialogue between think tanks, EU institutions, and policymakers.
YOUR TASKS:
- General administrative and content assistance to run the EaP Think Tank Network, such as preparing invitations, meeting minutes, event concepts, and reports;
- Support events management, including booking accommodation and travel, communication with participants, and catering, with the support of the DGAP events team;
- Support communication activities, website, social media and newsletter management;
- Stakeholder management, liaison with network members, update the EaP TTN database.
Anforderungsprofil:
YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:
- Currently enrolled at a German university or college, e.g. in the fields of political science, international relations or other relevant disciplines;
- Previous professional experience and/or work in a similar context is an asset;
- Reliability, a structured approach, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work flexibly, in a team;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Strong English and German language skills.
